Anam Cara Event in Circle of Life Garden
Anam Cara, the bereavement support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child, held their June Galway event at Circle of Life Garden on Wednesday, 3rd June.
At this very moving ceremony, parents and families came together to remember their loved ones and celebrate life. The event included the lighting of candles, reflections, songs and music and the planting of a tree under which each family was invited to place a stone with the name of their loved one. The Birch Tree which was planted is associated with rebirth and regeneration, and with healing and protection.
