Tidy Towns Award for Circle of Life

Circle of Life Commemorative Garden won the Best Community Group Project in the 2015 Galway Tidy Towns & Garden Competition.

The award was presented by the Mayor of Galway, Cllr. Frank Fahy to Martina & Denis at a reception held in Galway last evening (Sept. 22nd). A total of seventy two awards were presented in this annual competition which is organised by Galway City Council.

A special thanks to Dúchas na Gaillimhe and the two great workers, Dave and Gorka, who helped with the upkeep of the garden last year under a Community Employment Scheme.
