European Organ Donation Statistics 2014

European data on Organ Donation & Transplantation for 2014 was published in the Autumn '15 issue of Support Magazine, which makes for interesting reading.

A full report of the 30th Annual Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving organised by the IKA and held on October 3rd is also carried in this issue of the magazine, as are reports from the 20th World Transplant Games held recently in Argentina, and the British Transplant Games held in Newcastle/Gateshead.

As always, Support Magazine carries stories and photos from IKA local branch events from around the country.

This issue also features a fitting tribute to the late Martin Doody, archaeologist, writer and former Honorary National Chairman of the IKA who died in July.  

From the very beginning of discussions and planning of Circle of Life Garden in Salthill, Martin, as Chairman of the IKA at that time, gave great encouragement and assistance, and continued to support the project right through to its creation.
