Organ donation Statistics 2021

HSE/ODTI report an increase in organ donations during 2021 despite another difficult year due to Covid 19.

During 2021 a total of 203 transplants took place in Ireland, an increase of 13 from 2020, but a significant decrease from 2019 when a record 249 transplants were carried out.
