 Summer Edition of Support Magazine

Support Magazine for  Spring 2010 covers this year's Organ
Donor Awareness Week as well as reports from World Kidney Day and many other events.

The Winter edition (2009)  carried the results of a very interesting 3 year survey of university students on Transplantation, Multi-Organ Donation & Presumed Consent.  The most common answer for not carrying a card was that the individual had not formalised a decision.  Other reasons for not completing a donor consent card are that they "never thought of it" or "got around to it".  The survey also suggested that many in this age group may not seriously consider the possibility of an early death.  (page 8)
