Astellas Transplant Fun Run

Astellas Pharmaceutical once again sponsored the annual Run for a Life event in Park West, Dublin 12 on Saturday October 13th, which coincided with the European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation. Managed by the Irish Kidney Association, the purpose of the event is twofold: to raise organ donor awareness and raise funds for the on-going work of the IKA.

Mike's daughter, Danielle, received her "gift of life" seventeen years ago when she received a kidney transplant, and is constantly helping to promote awareness of the importance of organ donation.
